WHY
DON'T YOU JOIN US?
There is no registration fee for
TJYoung2. So, we hope as many undergraduate students,
graduate students, and young researchers as possible from
Taiwan, Japan, and other countries to join the conference.
You can participate in TJYoung2 as either
a presenter or a non-presenter, to attend the full program
of the conference, which will let you to both take
high-quality lectures provided
by leading scientists and establish international collaboration
among young researchers and students through research
presentations, lunches, and banquets.
Instructions for presenters
The conference is planning to support travel
expense of about 30 undergraduate/graduate students and
young researchers who wish to make presentations in the
conference, so we are soliciting many submissions of high-quality
abstracts!
If you wish to make an oral/poster presentation
AND to obtain full travel support, please register
and submit your abstract and CV via the Registration
page by August 31.
If you wish to make a poster presentation
but NOT to obtain travel support, please register
and submit your abstract via the Registration
page by September 19 (from Taiwan and other countries)
or September 30 (from Japan).
For details, please refer to the Guidelines
page.
Instructions for non-presenters
If you wish to participate in the conference
as a non-presenter, please register via the Registration
page by October 24. Though we will probably provide
an on-site registration, we would like to estimate how
many banquets and lunches should be prepared.
JOINT
CONFERENCES
The TJYoung2 conference will be operated
as one of a series of academic meetings on bioinformatics,
named the Bioinformatics Week in Odaiba 2008 (BiWO2008;
4-7 Nov). TJYoung2 (4-6 Nov) will be its first event,
followed by the 1st Japan-India Bilateral Symposium on
Bioinformatics (JIBS;
6 Nov), 39th Meeting of the Special Interest Group on
Molecular Biology Informatics, the Japanese Society for
Artificial Intelligence (SIG_MBI
(Japanese page); 6 Nov), and the Annual Meeting of
Computational Biology Research Center 2008 (CBRC2008
(Japanese page); 7 Nov). All these events will be
held at CBRC in collaboration.
