    Dr. Kidd is a leading researcher in the research field of human genetics. He is interested in the human genome diversity and investigating how it is shaped by evolutionary processes. His labolatory owns 2,000 individuals of human DNA samples (belonging to world-wide populations) and develops the ALFRED database of human polymorphisms (especially SNPs).
